Bread for All People has a variety of program offerings for all members of the community.
These programs include but are not limited to:
Bountiful Backpacks - Bountiful Backpacks is an outreach program that provides Cardington Lincoln Elementary students and their families with backpacks filled with non-perishable food to eat over the weekend. We provide them with breakfast, lunch and a snack for both Saturday and Sunday to replace what they would get at school though the week.
Rock the Crock - (a CrockPot™ cooking class for back-to-school family meal planning—each attendee received a CrockPot™ and a pantry starter kit), Soup-er Bowl (a fun soup cooking class offering soup-tastings, gifts and giveaways).
Be the Village Marion - Our outreach ministry has been able to fund and support projects through Be the Village Marion. The overall mission is to connect with and support foster families, and also engage the children's birth families so that we can break the cycle of abuse and neglect.
Bread for All People can assist any ministry or any member in sponsoring an event that follows the Up-In-Out (UIO) Model. The UIO Project, as it’s called, is like a Thrivent Action Team. If you have an idea for your ministry, you can go online, and fill out the UIO Project Application. This application goes to Bread for All People, who will review your request for assistance. Bread for All People can help you with financial support, event or project support, and encouragement. And you can get funded through both Thrivent AND UIO for the same project!
If you are interested in producing an event, a project, or an activity and would like some assistance, go to this link to begin the UIO process: https://form.jotform.com/80528206216148.
