A special message for our challenging times:
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" Psalm 46:1
This is certainly a time that has brought us into some unchartered territory in how we have been asked as a state and nation to respond, in respect to the COVID-19 pandemic. In such times that can bring about anxiety, our impulse is to physically gather together as church. Unfortunately, we are reaching a point in where that is being deemed as being not in the best interest of not only those who would choose to gather, but for our society at large.
St. John Lutheran Church (Windfall) will be suspending all in person worship services, gatherings, meetings and activities thru April 5th.
Pastor Sornchai will be posting sermons on the internet and will upload them to YouTube, Facebook, and send them out via email. Devotional resources will be provided as well. Watch the Fourth Sunday of Lent 2020 video now.
You can also visit stjohnwindfall.podbean.com to listen to sermons from prior dates. You can also get the Podbean app for your smartphone or tablet to listen. Simply go to Apple App Store or Google Play site to get the app!
Just a reminder that you can continue making contributions to our ministry online. This could be done for a "one time" donation or it could be set up to be automated at a frequency of your choosing. Visit our Giving page to set up your offering.
We are the church! You are the church! We are still called to be church in the midst of this pandemic and we will make use of our technology and other forms of media to stay connected as the body of Christ and we will share the love of Jesus in our homes and in the places where we are able to go at this time.
God is with us and we cling to the Lord who is the rock of our salvation!
